Print preview window

This windows show a print preview of the active editor document. You can also start the actual printing here. The window is shown by using the "File/Print" command.

  1. Page selector: Select the page you want to show in the preview pane
  2. Print range: Select the data range to print:



  3. Margins: Enter the top, left, right and bottom print margin in millimeters
  4. Font: Click this button to choose the font used for printing
  5. Print colors: Check this box to use the editor's colors for printing
  6. Use background color: Check this box to paint the paper's background using the editor's background color
  7. Highlight selection: Check this box to mark the block currently selected in the editor using either a bold font (if not using background colors) or inverted colors
  8. Print ruler: Check this box to print a ruler at the top of each page
  9. Page header: The contents of this field are printed at the top of each page. The page header consists of three parts (left, centered and right) which are separated by pipe characters ("|") in this edit box. There are a few macros available here:



  10. Page footer: The contents of this field are printed at the bottom of each page. The page header macros can also be used here. The footer also consists of a left, a centered and a right part
  11. Preview pane: This part displays a preview of the selected page
  12. Zoom button: Use this button to change the preview's size
  13. Help button: Show this help topic
  14. Print setup button: Displays Windows' printer setup dialog
  15. Print button: Start printing and close this window
  16. Close button: Close this window without printing
